Currently the achievement system rewards only the first completion of a task. I would like to have a system (possibly optional) where you get achievements for the more grindy aspects of Minecraft. 100 wheat harvested, 500 trees chopped down, 1000 diamonds mined.
Or something like 10 of each ore mined, 50 of each hostile mob killed, trade for every item from a villager.
I would especially love a villager themed achievement tab, to go with the improved villages and trading. Build 5 extra houses for the villagers, defend from 5-10-20 raids
I feel this would give me a much longer goal to aim for. I get that Minecraft is about creativity but I want to build in survival and grinding to get enough blocks for the bigger builds seems unrewarding.
