Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Make gold tools swing faster when attacking

Making gold tools swing faster when the player is attacking something would balance them and would (probably) make more people use gold tools.

    Gold weights more than diamonds and iron logically, but diamond sword and tools should be most valuable in all works in general, the only good use was if golden pickaxes were able to mine a lot faster than diamond pickaxe but gold is best used for crafting exclusive items. Gold in real life is less dense than iron and diamond but weights a lot more.

    Definitely agree with you that there's currently very little reason to craft golden tools, other than to look cool! They need some advantage over the other materials. Perhaps there could be a new block only mineable by gold tools for example.
