Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Promethium Ore

This new ore would be the first radioactive ore implemented in Minecraft. If held without protective gear it would give the new effect Radiation which would eventually kill the player but is slower then poison. If you manage to survive the radiation and bring Promethium Ore back to a furnace it can be smelted into a Promethium Ingot (Still gives radiation). With that you can craft an Atomic Battery with 6 Iron on top and bottom and 3 Promethium Ingots. You can then use the Atomic Battery as a Block that powers 30 redstone instead of 15. It could also be used to create a Promethium Torch (1 Stick, 1 Promethium Ingot) that gives off twice the amount of light then a regular torch (And can be used Underwater). These are just some ideas of what this ore can be used for.
