So i checked the recent snapshot's combat system and it was pretty decent.However i didn't like the new special attack system.Basically it's giving you just crit and knockback when you jump and hit that's it also it has a really strong knockback that makes enemies escape easier.I think they should make the "Special Attacks" more "Special" here are some suggestions:
- AXE:What about giving "Splash Damage" as special attack to axe.It would make it feel more heavy like a real axe and also it would give us a reason to use it in combats.
- HOE:Finally an use for hoe another than farming.I think giving hoe a "Pulling Effect" would make it usable in combats.Think about it when your enemies tries to flee but too bad for them because you have Hoe™ then you get in the hit rage do a speacial attack that pulls the enemy towards to you then finish the rest with sword or any weapon choice you like.
- SWORD:I can't find something other than "Bleeding Effect" for the sword.If you have one please tell me.
- SHOVEL:"Market Gardener" Deals crits while the wielder is in air.(Team Fortress 2 reference)
I couldn't find anything for the other tools existing.If you find anything creative about them you can leave the comment down and if I find it interesting i'll add it here.
