Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Since the process in real life could be a bit tricky, I do also agree they should do this. Like a grindstone's GUI but reversed. It would be some newly added block, along with a villager job type. They could just make it so you insert 8 diorite and receive 1 quartz back along with 8 cobble. This also goes for granite, but you can insert 4 instead of 8, and for andesite, 16. They should make it a tiny bit rarer, or have the stones come in smaller chunks. With these massive 12 stack chunks of granite, you could get up to 3 stacks of quartz, which is a little OP because you could sell it to villagers for emeralds. Plus, you could sell the granite/diorite/andesite itself too.

    1 andesite = 1 cobble, 0.5 quartz
    1 diorite = 1 cobble, 1 quartz
    1 granite = 1 cobble, 2 quartz
