Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Kinetic Energy protection helmet/elytra

Helmet Enchantment that reduces damage taken from gliding into walls

it could be either a enchantment with only 1 level, or like a normal protection enchantment where it goes like levels of I II III IV.

so lets say you have an elytra, and you start gliding. you use your fireworks and glide into a wall, killing you. with the kinetic protection helmet, the damage is absorbed by your helmet reducing the amount of dmg you take, making you survive. this would be very useful so you don't die by unloaded chunks or hitting a wall.

or it could be for elytra

    There's already a lot of enchantments that go on the helmet. I feel this would fit perfectly on elytra.

    yeah thats actually a better idea, i was thinking of helmet because you die of kinetic energy when you slam head first
