Wasps in jungle.

Wasp hives would be so cool to come across in a jungle and if you get within a four block radius of the hive, two or three wasps will attack you dealing 1 heart of damage each plus, each wasp will give you a 5 percent chance of getting the poison bug effect which will do three hearts of damage over ten seconds and give you a small slowness for 5 seconds. If you destroy the hive, ten will attack you with the same attacks as the three or two that attacked you earlier.

edit: I made this before the bees and bugs update. The “poison bug effect” would just be the same thing that happens when bees sting you. They could do a bit more damage than bees and could sting you more than once

    The wasp enchantment might be a little far fetched, maybe it could be added into jungle temple loot and will poison anything that attacks you, while also making you temporarily weaker (from using the poison). The enchantment being in the jungle temple could also be a little bit of lore, it's a special enchantment jungle villagers used to ward of the wasps.

    I do love the wasps themselves though, would make the jungle more exciting.

    They should also be hostile against bees

    Wasps can spawn in any warm biome. If they sting you then you lose one heart.
