Totem of Undying in Inventory

Totems of undying are very handy in sticky situations. You merely hold one in your hand when the going gets tough, and presto- you're saved. However, I somehow just noticed that a player can die with a totem in their inventory, and the totem won't save you from death. Unfortunately, I only discovered this for myself through my own survival experiences. Since death can be swift and unexpected, not everyone can get the totem in hand before getting a game over. Would it be reasonable to expand the Totem of Undying's ability to save the player if it is in your inventory?

    @Blast Burner Oh? Evokers drop the totems upon death, and other players have wanted evokers to be able to use their own totems, even though they are in their inventory. And foxes can use them when they are stored in the one inventory slot they have. 

    I guess I can see that it needs some sort of balance, but having to keep it directly in hand whilst engaging in battle feels very inconvenient, especially if a player is facing off with a boss.

    Perhaps there could be a totem slot in the player's inventory. Otherwise a player could have 10 totems in their inventory and never die.
