I would like to see all versions exactly the same as the PS4 version. Bedrock has it almost right, but getting out of the water is a little annoying and not smooth. Also, and I haven't tested this yet, but I think Bedrock allows you to start swimming in ANY amount of water, even the lowest level in a flow of water. If this is the case, I don't think it makes sense, but one block swimming is needed and the smooth running transition. So much more fun getting through water.

On Java, you can swim on the surface of water so you don't run out of air. This is a very convenient way to travel sometimes, but it's 'glitchy'. You can't start swimming unless your head is underwater, so then you have to swim upward. If you go up too steep, you stop swimming on the surface. If you go up slowly, you get caught right under the surface but still can't breathe. I think it would be awesome if there was an easier way to start swimming on the surface of water, it sounds like you can probably do this in bedrock already.
