What about on the Xbox One? Players on there have no G and H keys. How would this work on there?

The game just needs leaning, in general.

I play in first-person perspective 100% of the time, and I've wanted to lean to peer over a ledge or around a corner many times, but can't. Feels very restrictive to not be able to.

For me, the lean keys would be Q and E, as it is in Thief II: The Metal Age, as it feels very natural. I would then, personally, re-assign the current "E" usage (inventory pop-up, iirc) to some other key, like F. Being able to lean forward by holding a modifier key like CTRL+W would be nice to have in addition to left/right leans, too; again, just like Thief II could do 20 years ago.

I'm baffled by how many FPS games don't have leaning, and by how many people don't care. I have to assume they have just never played games with leaning, or have never felt how much more realistic and natural player movement feels with it if nicely implemented -- as there was at least 10-15 years after Thief II where no games had it... and it's still very rare.

With how precious one life is in Minecraft, it is hardly fair to risk accidentally falling off a ledge and dying just because you were trying to inch closer to the ledge to look over it. Yes, I know you can lock your feet to the ground and never fall off by holding a modifier key. But it doesn't matter; you can never peer over an edge because of your rigidly upright view.

I've also played MInecraft since around 2014 and have been waiting 7 years now for leaning.
