Stop making stripped log if second hand used

Everytime I build something, I used to put the block on the second hand, and the tool to mine it in the main hand.

But if I try to put blocks on logs while I'm holding an axe in my main hand, the log become a stripped log, and I have to remove it. It also happens when you hold a shovel, because it makes a grass path block.

So it could be great if the feature of making stripped logs and grass path will be lock if the second hand is used.
