Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Harpoons

Harpoon is a throwing weapon, thrown out of a special mechanism, but not a gun. It's intended for spearfishing, it can be used for hunting on land.

Weapon Recipe:

Maybe it can be made of a Trident, of two strings, and tripwire hook, or it can be made of a Crossbow and Trident , or it can be made from other materials.

Weapon mechanics: 

String is pulled on the harpoon as on a crossbow. After that, the Trident is placed. Trident thrown out and deals damage, after which it comes back and drags the mob.

Damage - 7 or 9 

Harpoon Length  - 8-10 blocks

Weapon enchantment:

Quick Charge, Power, Loyalty.

    Sorry for this bad suggestion, but why only make it able to have it on a boat, than you'll make the harpoon shooting thing on the boat, and then when you're in the boat, you can load it with a trident that you hold in your hands, and than it might also be able to be shot faster or something? But you can only have it build on a boat?

    How about a thrown weapon made from 3 string 1 stick and 1 iron or copper nugget or ingot? it works similarly, but does less damage (2-5) and thus is less overpowered & less expensive.

    What if when it kills a mob it pulls the drops towards you like a fishing rod
