Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Stone bricks having higher blast resistance than cobblestone

At the moment, cobblestone and stone bricks both have a blast resistance of 30, so the only reason to spend coal on smelting cobblestone for building is for aesthetics. If stone bricks have a higher blast resistance, that creates an incentive to build houses out of stone bricks instead of cobblestone for the functional purpose of reducing creeper damage. Cobblestone blast resistance could be lowered, while stone bricks stay at 30.

    I agree. I think lowering the cobblestone blast resistance is a better option to reflect the fact that cobblestones are just small rocks put together.
    I also think that most stone objects should be imune to ghast fireballs, because:
    1. Cobblestone comes from stone
    2. How come cobbles are stronger against ghast fireballs than just plain stone, smooth stone, and stone bricks.
