Dear Mojang
I have an idea regarding a new Golem type. Even though we currently have Iron and Snow, I feel like there could be more variety. Which is why I have come up with an idea to include Redstone Golems. My idea for their function was that they operate similar to snow golems, except instead of throwing snowballs, they shoot arrows or fire charge from their dispensers for arms. My vision for the Redstone Golem itself is that it is as tall as the Iron Golem, has a dispenser on each arm that could be inserted with any item the player chooses. You could think of this as redstone defense robots. The Redstone Golem will be strongest in far ranged attacks by shooting items such as arrows and fire charge at hostile mobs. However, it's weakest are will also be it's huge disadvantage. The weakest area is close ranged attacks, when a hostile mob gets too close to it, the Golem will be vulnerable to the mob's attacks. How I want it to be created is 1 iron block at the bottom row, while the middle row is a redstone block on top of the iron block at the bottom. Then the player would place 1 iron block on the left of the redstone block, and another one on the right. Finally, an observer block is placed on top of the redstone block, and the Golem comes alive.
I would really like this idea in the game and believe it could have huge benefits for the player when used to defend against raids.
