Quartz Finding Block/Item

I realized that after a while of farming XP, It became almost impossible to find more quartz. So it should be added that random blocks of netherrack can turn into quartz. Either just randomly or on command by maybe placing a specific block for a quartz vain to start growing on that spot. If this isn’t possible, can there be an potion added that works as a spectral effect where all quartz blocks are shown, thanks
