Totally love the structure block. It's the greatest thing. I just wish we could invert Y coordinates as well as the X & Z. When building a detailed decorative wall I would love to be able to flip the bottom to the top.

Also being able to copy more then 64 blocks on the X & Z access.

You can actually move the structures as well, but you'd need to move the files from the world folder.

Structures are server side, not client side; as such they cannot be cross-world.

Simply move the (world)/generated folder to the other world file, or in a data pack.

Users can save time by choosing their own location for structural save

I can personally move the files over, if needed. My bugiest gripe is the size we save structures at. I'm just on SinglePlayer and I don't care how "long" it takes to save/load them. Because of inevitable (& beautiful) terrain updates: I desire to keep my structures after regenerating the terrain. Sepnding an hour or two carefully positioning and setting up many of these blocks is NOT FUN!

    Fully agree!

I never understood why there wasn't the option to see ALL structures stored in in "local memory" (ie: from locally saved worlds).

At the very least: When viewing the list of worlds, Mojang could simply add a browser of structure files for that world and give the option to move them. Not the most visually-appealing way to go about-it but it would save us the trouble of switching to our file-browser and navigating to the correct folders.

Would very much love this on xbox one bedrock! Would save tons of time on builds and could be used creatively to do thing you normally couldnt.

Here's how I think cross-world structures could work.

Additional save setting: Save to World / Save to App. Allows you to choose whether the structure block saves the structure to the world file (what Minecraft normally does) or to a separate 'structures' file. Structures saved in the structure file can be loaded to any world. Additional option: Transfer From App to World. Adds a chosen structure from the player's structure file to the game file therefore making possible to load it in that world. Structures in the structure file can be accessed from the files section of the settings menu.

If on bedrock you had something like seed picker for choosing structures to load that would make it a lot easier. I have trouble remembering the names of structures. Maybe if it also showed the 3d model of the structure next to it it would work even better.

I agree you can move structures around one world but not to different worlds

Please Mojang. You need to find a way to make this work for ps4 and xbox editions.

It's difficult to want to invest in this game when features that many people want, aren't implemented.  All I wanted to do was copy a 3D Grogu I made into my Daughter's World, which led me down this rabbit hole.  Having to put my android phone into Dev mode to copy out my "Application" world save data and copy back as "external" save data, only then to find out the Structure_Block only saves to the world's database and not actually to a file.  What a pain.   Having this functionality would actually make me want to get the Realm sub again.

    https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-49465

    "Thank you for your report!
However, this issue has been closed as Working as Intended.

Remember not all differences between game versions/platforms of Minecraft are bugs. Structure blocks in Bedrock have been implemented slightly differently, and the different save choices work as follows:

Currently in Bedrock, the Save to Disk option doesn't save the structure as a loose file like in Java. Instead it saves it on disk as part of leveldb (world data). It is different from save in memory though. With Save in Memory, the structure data is only available during that game session. If you choose save to disk instead, the structure data persists on disk and so will still be present on future gameplay sessions."

Actually we can do this by using the "Export" feature (not 3D export) of the structure block to create a .mcstructure file that can be manipulated in various ways, plus...

Currently we can move any saved .mcstructure files between worlds by creating a "structures" folder inside any active behavior pack folder for the target world (must be in the specific behavior pack folder for the specific target world). Then just copy your .mcstructure files into that "structures" folder. The moved structure files are then accessible in your target world by using the standard Structure Block "Load" function. It's tricky because you need to know how to navigate the Minecraft Bedrock Edition folders, but it works!

I completely agree with you on this and the sizes needs to be increased as well imo..

you can do this from a save mode structure block by hitting the export button and moving the resulting .mcstructure to a "structures" folder in a behavior pack and applying the pack to the world you want to move to, then load by using the save name of the structure in the pack in a load block. it sounds complicated but its really not. the reason that they use this system in bedrock instead of the java system is so that you can't export from marketplace worlds and plagiarize content.

We need the option from the BE "Remove blocks" in java edition too. Please add it
