Allow for multiple instances of Minecraft.

Minecraft currently lives on %appdata%/.minecraft

Many mod-packs these days change the path to .modpackname in order to work with the normal Minecraft when needed.

I found myself needing a new instance of Minecraft for my speedrunning (I need to duplicate a a lot of maps/saves in order to begin anew each run)

In the left row of the Launcher there is "Minecraft: Java Edition" for me, I wonder if possible to add a plus button and create a new copy/instance of owned games. they will work the same just have an empty slate of versions and everything.

    Absolutely amazing idea! I'd love to see this in the future in the launcher... Maybe add some settings for every single instance (icon, name, description, version, possibly website or url to check for updates)

    Also that could bring comunity modpacks to the launcher so players can share their packs and download it easier by just clicking download comunity instance
