Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New Totem of Death [Tombstone Mod]

Inspired by the Tombstone Mod

  • When you die a tombstone spawns in that location
  • A chest is buried with all your inventory
  • You need a new Totem of Death to use this effect
  • Or set it as a gamerule like the keep inventory
  • Will work similarly to totem of undying and it will save all of your items even if they fell in lava
  • Plays a cool animation and sound
  • Totem will remain in your inventory after death and will lead you back to the place where you died then when you reach the location it will disappear

Side Note: This totem will be easier to obtain than the totem of undying because its effect is not too overpowered.

 

Would make a cool edition to the game because when you die and forgot where you were, your items are at risk of despawning, but if you have this totem it will safely store your items allowing you to retrieve them no matter how long it takes to find them.

    That actually sounds great. Would work well on servers if your bed was ever destroyed and you died from a mob
