Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I'd like to see more edible and non-edible plants because there has been expansions on almost everything else. I'd love to see both common, cultivated plants like pears and plums and wild edibles like wild strawberries and nettles. Nettles would sting, and need to be treated before consumption. And yes, dandelions and roses are actually edible. Dandelions are better the younger the leaf, else the white un-tasty juice will spoil the flavour.

Some edibles that grow on trees: pear, orange, plum, peach, cherry, date, almond, chestnut, walnut, hazel, banana, lemon, lime, pomegranate, cashew, papaya, nectarine, apricot, avocado, coconut, kiwifruit, passion fruit, mango just for starters. We can't have this many trees, that much is clear. But we could make a stem called "fruit tree" or something, and if we plant an avocado stone in a fruit tree stub, that tree will bear avocados.

The spice cinnamon would be obtained from stripping certain trees' bark, and tree sap must be tapped from certain trees. Certain trees would mean a tree bearing a specific fruit. The fruit must therefore be visible.

Some can be eaten right away, and some needs to be prepared. We could make smoothies, cranberry biscuits, mixed salads and so much more. I'd also like to see herbs that can be used for tea, toddy and coffee (and a recipie for hot chocolate please), which would make you quicker while in snowy areas. I mean, putting leaves in a bucket of water is something a no-brainer in the wilderness could do. Lots of spices would also be cool, and could be used to make food give back the hears quicker. (Almost) like how cake has no delay. We could also make a chocolate cake with walnuts (egg, milk, cocoa, walnuts, sugar, wheat).

Some decorative plants (sometimes usable for tea) are jasmine, bird cherry and common cherry (sakura). I'm not good with flowering trees, so somebody please add more to the list. To take decor flowers off trees, we could use the shears.

For toxic plants, bella donna is the first that comes to mind. I hope a clever person will see this and add a list of toxic plants, berries, fruits, leaves and mushrooms!

I would love to see more giant mushrooms as well, both for aesthetics and building blocks. More decorative flowers would also be nice, but I don't feel like we are too lacking in these except for the naked lily pads.

    Thank you for reading!

Some would grow on bushes like the current berries, and herbs can be stripped for berries and then leaves. Only the berries would be replanted to grow a new bush. Bushes needs to take longer before they are ready again.

More plants I'd love to see: peanut, blackberry, blackcurrant, redcurrant, strawberry, wild strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, cloud berry, cranberry, pineapple, watermelon, honey melon, cabbage, leek, red/yellow onion, garlic, brokkoli, cauliflower, cucumber, squash, eggplant, artichoke, brussel sprouts, asparagus, different types of beans, celery, fennel, spinach, nettles, bell pepper, chili pepper, rhubarb, corn, tomatoes, dragon fruit, durian, fig, goji, guava, olive, cantaloupe, white currant, rice, edible more mushrooms, etc.

Some plants, like rhubarb, can be harvested twice. After 1 time it shrinks, and after 2 it is gone. If you only harvest once, it will regrow over time. Rice would have to be planted in a slot of water surrounded by soil on 4 sides. Some mushrooms will grow on the ground (forest's gold) and some on the trees (usually white or brown).

There could be more vegetables like Brussels sprouts, kale, or tomatoes. There could also be fruit trees like avocados, bananas, and peaches. For non-edible plants there should be poisonous mushrooms.

Some temperate edibles to possibly add: mulberry trees, wild garlic/onion (could simply make the existing allium item edible), raspberries/blackberries, grapes, thistles/nettles, rhubarb, maple syrup, morels, walnuts, hazelnuts, mint, gooseberries.

Nuts Update: Chestnuts, Walnuts, Hazelnuts, Acorns and Squirrels

These new trees would add a much needed variety to the forest of the overworld, chestnuts would give spike balls that could be thrown causing some damage, or opened to get chestnuts and eat them raw or cooked, or golden chestnuts using nuggets.

Hazelnut trees would work similar to bamboo but in a brown color, and becoming thicker overtime, giving hazelnuts, bows made from their wood would be stronger.

Wallnuts you would get the possibility of eating them raw, roasted or golden wallnuts using gold nuggets.

Acorns would be turned onto flour for new bakery recipes, or fed to pigs and that would increase their reproduction rate.

Finally squirrels would be small and go around forests burying their nuts into a new dirt block called squirrel stash that would release the turn inside when dug up, squirrels would be tamed giving them nuts, and would sit on the players shoulder once tamed like a parrot.
