Your player marked in maps that are in Item Frames

    This is actually intended and a great feature. That marker is NOT the player, it is the location of the map itself, within the area that it is displaying.

    Do not remove this marker.

    Honestly, this is a good feature as is, put a map on every nether portal in the world and there's an instant map for navigating/waypointing large distances

    Not only that there's already a way to 'remove' this marker from the map anyway, simply make the map without a compas in the first place, no player location while you're making it and no green map location icon once it's placed, it's kinda makes it useless as a map if you can't see where you are on it especially at larger scales but if you want wall art it's fine

    I kind of want a way to follow/see players using maps in itemframes, it'd be good to have a sense of who's in the world and where they're working

    As we have banners that allow us to create a "you are here" position, there's no need for the marker to indicate this as standard.

    Bedrock version doesnt allow the use of banners to mark the map so this is useful for this
