"Hero of the Village" should help you with you village affiliation.

If you get the effect "Hero of the Village", you should be able to reset your affiliation with a village to the base value, IF your previous value was inferior to the base value.

Finishing a Raid is something important, and the rewards for it are not that great some times. In order to finish a raid, you need to have good armor and tools, so getting stone tools from some villagers in a form of gift, is not something that will be appreciated.

Also, if you have some negative affiliation with the villagers, the discounts don't actually help you, since most of the prices will still be high.

I think that after helping the village with the raid, the villagers should spare you for your previous actions. Then, if you beat another raid, only then will they give you objects and discounts.
