Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Banner Patterns on Shulkers Boxes

With the addition of banner Patterns in the loom, I think it would be an awesome feature if we could apply patterns to Shulker boxes. I have more than 16, and while naming is a wonderful thing, and you can see the contents, having them patterned for differentiation would be amazing and allow for multiplayer servers to better discern between Shulker boxes more easily.

 

This is especially useful when shulker boxes are placed down, as you cannot see the name.

    This would be super useful to have patterns on shulker boxes, could use the same patterns as the ones banners use. We need a better way of sorting boxes, and a nice addition would be if they also had the name above them as if name-tagged. Please Mojang!

    I think we at least need some more colors and options. There are 27 spaces in an echest and filling each with a shulker will mean multiples of each color. I can imagine people finding cool uses for patterns on shulkers.

    Another option would be to implement a carpet/pattern similar to llamas. Each shulker gets a carpet slot, and each carpet colour has it's own texture which is overlayed on top of the shulker's colour.

    Could also allow the smithing templates to work on shulkers
