So for this idea it is basically a non craftable potion effect. What it does is that any noise emitted from Mob or Player is negated so that they are completely silent. I feel like this effect should happen to hostile mobs with a random chance on each difficulty.
- Easy: 5% Chance Hostile Mob Spawn with Silence Effect
- Normal: 15% Chance Hostile Mob Spawns with Silence Effect
- Hard: 25% Chance Hostile Mob Spawns with Silence Effect
- Hardcore: 50% Chance Mob Spawns with Silence Effect
This effect would give Minecraft that much needed difficulty factor because now there are mobs that don't make any noise.
