Bubbles go through scaffolding

If this is in the wrong place, or has already been mentioned, let me know. I feel that scaffolding should not prevent bubble Collums from appearing. Scaffolding is not a fully solid block, and it even looks like it should have bubbles go through it. But, I am not requesting this due to aesthetic preference. I feel this needs to be changed because bubble elevators are in a way, dangerous. I’m sure I’m not the only one who died going down a bubble elevator being chased by zombies. I feel this needs to be changed for that reason. To make bubble elevators safer. I’m sure it could be used in more ways than this, but this is all I can come up with.
