Recently I have seen the new combat changes, here is my thoughts on how to improve weapon diversity without adding too much to the game
*2 enchantment sections
The idea with this is simple, when you go to enchant an item you can pick "weapon" or "tool" and the random enchantments will be focused on one of the 2
*even out weapon DPS
If 1 weapon has a higher DPS more people will use it unless it has some other draw back like a small range, if all weapons follow a curve of range to DMG to time then there isn't the problem of a sword is the only weapon
*more special attacks
When I say this I mean stuff like crits or other such thing, and also making every weapon have 1 specific to it(unless you wanna have a gimmick of this weapon has slightly higher DPS but can't do specials) I get that this is the least likely of these to happen because dev time could go into other things and ideas would be thin, but this is something to keep in mind
