TNT Levels

When was the last time you wanted to destroy a mountain? How long did that take? What if I had a way to more effectively destroy larger swaths of land, and even mine! Well I do, Stronger TNT!

It's simple, have the new TNT system be similar to the map system, in which you put paper around the map to make it zoom out more. For example, put a piece of TNT in the middle of the crafting grid and surround it with gunpowder to make a TNT x2, which is twice as powerful and has twice the range.

However, the TNT system will now begin to differ from the map system, because in order to get the TNT x4, x8, or x16, you will have to surround a piece of TNT with the previous version of TNT. For example, to get a TNT x8, you will need to put a TNT x4 surrounded in the crafting grid by TNT x2. 

Also, another form of explosive, dynamite, should be made.This would be effective for mining and is throw able. It would be made by putting your chosen piece of TNT (Normal-x4, anything higher is overkill), and getting 9 corresponding dynamite, which are half as powerful and have half the range, but treat stone materials as if they had the strength of dirt. To throw the dynamite, you would have to have a flint and steel/fire charge in your off hand and would then throw the dynamite like an egg or snow ball.
