Option to Use Programmer Art

The launcher up until now has used the classic textures that have been used for years. Now with the "new" textures, there is no way to switch back. I suggest adding a setting to use the Programmer Art as an option in the launcher settings.

  You can access this from the Resource Pack Menu from within the game.

  However what would be nice, is indeed a flag that can be set from the launcher to automatically enable the resource pack upon startup? however not sure if at all possible or too useful, as setting the pack once will keep it on till you disable it anyways.

  OP is still talking about the launcher itself (icons of installations), so it is not about the game resource packs.

  However, I disagree with the idea mainly because the launcher has never supported any resource packs (so why make an exception for "programmer's art") and because users can now use any image as the icon.

  Basically, if you want to use the texture of an old block, easiest way to do this:

  1. Go to MC wiki article Texture Update
  2. Find a block you like, click on the Old texture image
  3. Download the PNG image
  4. Open the launcher, find the installation you want to change
  5. Click on the icon and ➕
  6. Navigate to the image
  7. Save!
