The problem:
Okay so I like to mess around with command blocks and make cool/scary maps but then I figured something out. The blindness effect levels have no function. Whenever you use level 1 of the blindness effect it blinds just as much as level 255.
The solution:
I came up with the idea to make the different levels of blindness actually count. Blindness level 1 should have a smaller visible area than for example level 10 (so the player with the effect would have a larger visible area). This could help map creators improve their maps (especially if you include the other ideas underneath).
Extra idea:
- A way to change the blindness color (for example to white would make it look like fog)
- Whenever hostile entities get the blindness effect they should not be able to see their prey
