    Maybe this could be turned off and on like a daylight sensor, binary mode and non-binary mode perhaps?

    Maybe add a new type of "dimmable" redstone lamp
    With a higher contrast ratio, instead of dark brown to light brown, maybe black through gray to white?

    Also having this not be isRedstoneConductor() (redstone transparent), opposite to what the redstone lamps are currently now
    This would add many more possibilities for pixel displays

    It could be enhanced with quartz so that it produces a light level equal to the redstone signal it receives!

    I was going to suggest this. Maybe a new block in addition to the current redstone lamp. Maybe it can be called "Dynamic Redstone Lamp"?

    It's a brilliant idea, I think the best thing would be to add an interaction with the lamp (that is to say add, for example, beeswax so that it always has the same lighting) or directly add another type of lamp.

    This is easy to implement because there are 16 signal strengths and there are 16 light levels.

    And we will be able to make sirens.
