Headless Horseman

This mob could make use of the Zombie Horses. It would uncommonly spawn at night and away from light sources, like most undead mobs. When the sun rises, it will not burn, instead it will get Weakness and Slowness. It of course spawns riding a Zombie Horse.

It attacks by charging at you on the horse, trying to hit you as it passes by ( it spawns with an axe or sword made of iron or gold ). If the horse dies, it will walk towards you, attacking if you get too close. If you look away, it starts running. If you kill the Headless Horsemen without killing the Zombie Horse, you can keep the horse.

 

It's appearance is a Skeleton with a dark purple robe, and a jack o'lantern in place of a head. It drops it's "head", string, and bones.

    i like the idea where you can keep the zombie horse if you kill the rider

    I like this idea, but maybe the Headless Horseman could be just a stronger, rare variant of the Zombie Horseman.
