Create a block groups for /execute: #air (air, cave_air), #torch (torch, wall_torch), #pressure_plates (#wooden_pressure_plates, stone_pressure_plate) and #weight_pressure_plates (light_weighted_pressure_plate, heavy_weighted_pressure_plate)

  This is a cool idea and although it can be implemented via data pack I agree that these tags should exist.
