Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Metal Detectors

There should be metal detectors in Minecraft. It can be a great and faster way to find shiny ores. Like a normal metal detector, it will beep when the nearest valuable ores are detected.

    I think Metal Detectors in Minecraft is definitely a good idea, but I think Mojang should allow the detector to only be able to dectect 10 or 20 blocks deep, so the players will still have to mine a little.

    I think it need to be crafted with compass, magnet thing (I don't remember its name) and music block (because of beeps)

    you have to be able to improve it, start with stone, then iron, gold, diamond.
