Growing flowers of a specific type

As it stands in the current version of Minecraft, there are not a whole lot of ways to obtain flowers. You can use bonemeal on grass blocks in specific biomes to grow certain types of flowers, but the kinds of flowers you can get are determined by the biome. For example, Savannas will only spawn red and yellow flowers. I would like a feature to be able to grow any type of flower you like in any type of grass provided you have at least one flower you would like to have more of. 

Implementation is simple, you would plant Blue Orchids or Pink Tulips around the grass in a biome they don't naturally spawn in, and if you use bonemeal on the surrounding grass block there is a chance of another flower of that type growing.
