Enchantment to Everything in Minecraft Bedrock

Back on the legacy versions of Minecraft, (Xbox One Edition, PS4 Edition, Nintendo Switch Edition, and older versions too) we were able to enchant any item in the game, including blocks and items such as sticks. I'd like this feature to be introduced in the Bedrock version. (not sure if it's in Java, haven't checked) I would enchant these items for mini game purposes with my friends for the intent of messing around, (like knock back on sticks), and i don't want to use a wooden sword as I don't want to kill them. It would be a really welcomed addition to the game and I'm sure many other people would like this feature to be added back.

Long story short: Add the ability to enchant everything in Minecraft Bedrock (Java too if it doesn't have it already)

  Adding this to Java would be great along with having enchanted books have their enchantments apply to them.

  Who wouldn't want to beat up a zombie with a sharpness 5 book or a fire aspect pufferfish? Sure, you could accidentally eat your battle salmon while blocking but that's a risk I'm willing to take...

  I think this is a great idea as well. It would allow me to create better looking, and more creative magic items, such as a staff of fire using a fire aspect blaze rod. Or a staff of lightning using an end rod with channeling.
