Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Colored String

Colored string could be created by dying regular string or putting one block of any color wool in a crafting table to get four of that particular color (this idea also includes the idea of being able to craft wool back into string). This colored string could be used to get greater detail on banners or customizing bows or fishing rods. I feel this idea is mediocre at best, and it could use a little tweaking, but seeing that Mojang likes to pick ideas that wouldn’t be expected (sweet berries, shulkers, etc.) I think this one has potential.

    Puting 8 string and one dye into the crafting box should give you 8 colored string.

    This is an awesome idea since string is so hard to see as is. I know Grian was struggling when using it to prevent snow on his build in hermitcraft, but regardless, it would be awesome to use it for finer details on builds too

    I think colored string could also be useful when it comes to traps! Sometimes, it's pretty easier to spot the white string on the ground, but if it was a color other than white (one that would better blend into its surroundings), you could catch quite a few unobservant players by surprise.
