This might be a bit of a strange idea, but I think it would be a nice addition to the game's mechanics. Steve has a pretty weak set of lungs, he can only hold his breath for about fifteen seconds before he drowns, which is only half of what a normal person can achieve, so I think your air supply should be doubled for the sake of realism. This would be a bit overpowered though, but I have a solution, once you get to a certain depth, you should get a debuff called "deep sea pressure" which reduces the amount of time it takes for you to drown, and the deeper you go, the worse it gets, until you get to level III, where your breath will return to the original fifteen seconds. This mechanic could also scale with difficulty, making the debuff trigger in more shallow water depending on your settings, it could even make you drown faster than before if your difficulty is high enough
