Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.

In Java it's pretty much just holding the item at waist level and a bunch of particles fly everywhere

On bedrock when you toss an item out of your inventory it gives a little tossing animation, It's the subtle things that make the game so much better and more immersive

In the Bedrock version I noticed that when other players are playing they don’t have the good looks that the Java version of the game has when doing so.

i hear there's a mod that does this, but also allows you to see a map that someone else is holding, too.
