Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

More ways to get string

In my opinion there needs to be way more ways to get string in the game. I think now that we have Bamboo that it should be a source for string. Maybe just placing one Bamboo in a crafting table will give you one string or something. I feel like we should be able to craft it from different plants like bamboo or vines maybe now cutting down vines might have a chance of dropping string.

    Bamboo creates sticks so that's out of the picture. Good example though.

    you can make wool from string so why not string from wool

    Why not have a chance to drop string when you break vines without shears?  Vines are literally nature's string.

    Maybe not Bamboo, but shearing a block of wool should give you 4 strings since you can craft wool from string
