Horse feeding

Here's something, my idea is to make it so if you have a tamed horse there would be a hunger bar on top of the horses health but would take like 2x as long to go down from the players hunger bar, and like the player if the horse is not fed it would starve and the way to feed it is apples,wheat,hay, and carrots and also if it is a wild horse it won't starve. What do you think?

    Horses already "eat" grass from the ground as one of their random animations, the fact that minecraft animals do this pretty much makes them have no need for a hunger bar or hunger mechanics. I really wish you could feed horses carrots to heal them though, its like the only item that people normally feed to horses in reality that they can't be fed in minecraft. Maybe it would heal a little less health than apples because carrots are easier to get once you can farm them.

    Yes or that you can open a menu when you click on the horse where you can see the hunger and thirst level and please for bedrock
