Placeable items on fences

It would be awesome if you could place items on fences like saddles, leads (without it being attached to an animal), armor, and weapons. You could place them on the fence by holding shift and right clicking the fence with the item in your hand (you would take it off the same way except with an empty hand instead). I think it would be awesome to have because it could put more detail into maps that people make and just for overall more decoration.
