Ivory is the white material which forms the teeth, horns, and tusks of most animals. Throughout human history it was used for sculpting, medicine, jewelry, and weapon handles. Europeans also used ivory to make piano keys before the introduction of plastic.
The ravager is Minecraft's only animal with horns (besides the Ender Dragon) and currently only drops a saddle upon death. This idea would make them drop 1-4 pieces of ivory, which is used in creating luxury items. Below is an ivory chest constructed in the 12th century, which players will be able to craft with 8 pieces of ivory.
Players would also be able to craft small to mid-sized sculptures as seen below. The sculptures in-game would resemble village/passive mobs - the ones saved by the player.
Another example of using ivory in artwork includes decorated panels. Akin to paintings, these ivory counterparts would hang up on walls and depict some scene of the Pillagers' (failed) raid.
There are many other uses of ivory, but I believe these ivory products will fit best with Minecraft's medieval-like setting and help create a unique form of expression for players protecting villagers from raids.
