Two-handed Swords (Claymores)

Minecraft is in need of some more weapons, and a great one could be two-handed swords (Claymores). These weapons will be more powerful than regular swords, but at a cost.

While holding a two-handed sword, the player will hold it with both their hands, and as such will not be able to use their offhand slot/the item in the offhand slot.

When the player no longer is hovering/holding the Claymore, then they will go back to holding one item in one hand (and/or offhand).

Due to the player not being able to use their offhand item as they are using both hands to hold the Claymore, it is more powerful than a regular sword.

Claymores come in all materials; Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold, and Diamond. New enchants could be used for Claymores but most sword enchants work on claymores as well (ie Smite). They will be 1.5x as powerful as a sword but will be a bit slower to use. Claymores would be like the Crossbow variant of the Bow, but for swords.

Claymores might not be craftable, so they should generate in structures.

    I like the idea of the smithing table upgrading any sword to a greatsword by inserting it with the corresponding material.

    For a smithing table, a "outline" would also be appropriate, like a "flag pattern" on a loom. A variety of blueprints for weapons, tools, armor, and other metal items can be found in structures or purchased.
