Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Shulker Box Turret

Recipe: 2 Shulkers above and below and a Dispenser in the middle.

Info: So the Shulker Box Turret is basically an armored dispenser. This will make it be more resistant to explosions such as Ghast fireballs and Creeper explosions.

    It could also change directions that it is facing. Maybe even be able to teleport to different places. Maybe it is a type of golem

    It would be cool if this acted more like a redstone block-it would automatically shoot nearby hostiles like an archer, and could be shut off with a redstone signal. Maybe putting it adjacent to different ore blocks changes what/how it targets nearby enemies?

    I think it could be a bit more elaborate than this: For example; what if the shulker turret acts somewhat like an actual shulker? You can load the thing with projectiles, (Either manually, or with a hopper), and it will fire on hostiles nearby. It emits a comporator signal, can be moved by pistons, and deactivates if powered by redstone. 

    Different mineral blocks could also be used to alter what it targets- depending on which is adjacent to the turret. This would also allow you to make machines that cycle through target types. It could make a really devastating multiplayer defense, or a fun new twist to minigames. 

    Maybe it uses copper in the crafting recipe?
