Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Smelt Minecarts into iron nuggets

Small quality of life change. Most if not all iron items can be smelted into nuggets if not needed (horse / human armor, tools, and so on.), and mine carts are one of the few of these that spawn naturally (in mine shafts specifically). in addition, if the player is inclined to collect everything from their environment, these mine carts take up valuable chest space rapidly, as they cannot be stacked.

This idea would render these spare carts useful, save valuable inventory space, and would not to be too far-fetched of a use, considering that every other iron item of this type (except the compass) has this function.
