Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Banners curl up (like a blind) when powered by a red stone signal.

I think this could be cool if you wanted to dramatically uncurl a banner (perhaps your country’s flag) during role play or an adventure map or pretend you’re uncurling a pirate ships sails or even just use them as regular house blinds, the possibilities with banners are enormous already but why not make the possibilities even bigger?!

    As cool as this would be, Banners don't have the redstone capabilities so this wouldn't work. Great idea though.

    @blast burner They can be given red stone capabilities though could they not? I mean when you craft a door there is no red stone involved in the process yet somehow they interact with it so the same could be done for banners maybe?

    Cool but a different motion than curl up because that suggest the forbidden shape. (Circles)

    I should have probably been more specific, the animation wouldn’t actually be curling up into a circle the banner would simply get a thicker oblong at the top when fully “curled”

    Imagine the way a blind gets pulled up when you pull the string/chain, the blind gets shorter and the roll at the top would get longer, however in minecraft the roll would be replaced by an oblong.
