Scripting API - Add ability to determine clicked block face

I would like to be able to determine which block face a player clicked, or perhaps the coordinates for the interaction.

 

Example: event "minecraft:block_interacted_with" provides a player object and the location of the block that was interacted with. However, it's not possible to determine which block face the player interacted with.

    Yes, this is really important for things with multiple parts.
