When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Virtical comparator block

This component (refered to as c2 to avoid confusion) is similar to an observer although it can transfer a comparator singnal upward. Then out of the c2 block you can use a comparator to get the singnal. (Doesn't actually transport power) (One block at a time) for example. If you had a dispenser at y level 1. You could p
lace the c2 block at y 2 above the dispenser. Then you could take a comparator output from the c2 block using a comparator
