Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Rapiers

Add Rapiers: Stabby Swords whose attacks recharge faster, but do less damage than standard Swords, and either allow the wielder to backdash by Using it (Right Click) or have some Armor Penetration.

The Crafting Recipe can either be the same as the sword put diagonally, or something created via the Smithing Table.

This is a great idea! I used to fence myself, so I am a little biased. The only thing I see missing is a parry. Perhaps the Larry should be right click and backdash be S+SHIFT?

I'd vote for creating the Rapier via the Smithing Table, especially in case players expect multiple different kinds of swords to be featured. It could also use the same jabbing ability that the Spear from the Mounts of Mayhem has which replaces the standard swing mechanic.
