Flower Pot with Non-flower items

Currently the flower pot is used to create a variety of visual effects in the game besides just being a decorative plant pot, but much of the detailing relies on the creator's imagination or explanation to understand. Expanding the items allowed in flower pots will help in the story telling and setting the scene as is done in so many Minecraft worlds. The items allowed to be placed into a flower pot should be expanded beyond flowers to allow items like dye and feathers to be equipped. The feather would be similar to plants in that it would just be the model sticking out of the pot, but the dye would just fill up the flower pot like a liquid instead of having its model attached to it. The dye and feather could now resemble ink and a quill or the dye could be a cup that is actually full. 

The placement of the flower pot should also be changed to have similarities with the placement of Turtle Eggs and Bamboo. When placing a flower pot, its actual location on the block should be more varied (like when you place bamboo), instead of perfectly in the center. (on blocks like walls, it would still be perfectly centered however) Multiple flower pots should also be able to be placed on the same block (like Turtle Eggs).
