When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Trapped Door

Very similar to the trapped chest: When opened/closed, the door will emit a Redstone signal around it and the block it is on top of. Please consider this addition.

    I honestly don't know why this isn't already in the game! It would add a much cheaper way to use redstone with doors. You wouldn't have to look at that ugly observer in the doorway that gives away your intentions. It would be great for adventure maps, and survival play!

    Maybe you could somehow attach tripwire to the door itself
